IndigéTours™ are cultural-adventure-tours to the lands of indigenous-peoples of Asia & the Pacific; Exploring, Preserving & Bringing Positive Change to the Ethno-sphere. At IndigéTours™ we believe in tourism that not only makes a wonderful difference in the lives of the travelers we serve, but also makes a positive difference in the lives of the indigenous, minority peoples, who host the tours to experience their wonderful lands. We seek to incubate an appreciation for the unique culture of each host-society we visit, as well as the environment where they live. Y ou may have heard of “Eco-tourism”, “Geo-tourism” and “Adventure Travel”. IndigéTours™ includes all of the above, but we prefer the term “Ethno-tourism”, as we are specifically geared toward back-to-nature experiences among ethnic peoples in their own native “ethnosperes” . IndigéTours™ can arrange a variety of tours among multiple ethnic minority groups in Asia & the Pacific. Though IndigéTours™ is a business, we see our profits as not only monetary. We believe in a “triple bottom line” (3BL… 1. people, 2. planet, 3. profit) and, besides profits to grow our business, we attempt to also measure “positive transformational impact”. We consider IndigéTours™ a “Social Enterprise” and partner closely with charitable non-profit organizations, particularly The IndigéFoundation™, with many projects benefiting the ethnic-minorities where IndigéTours™ take place. Our tours give our customers exposure to ethnic peoples, an occasion to participate briefly in their lives, a window into their unique situation, and, afterward, provide opportunities to voluntarily contribute to projects that benefit them (if desired).
